Criminal Justice Tech Prep students are prepared for additional training or education in any of the areas embraced by the term “criminal justice.” Students will have exposure to basic self-defense tactics and fitness training. Some close order drill and personnel inspection activities will be scheduled. Students receive an overview of careers in law in this two-year Tech Prep program. Career opportunities:

Students will have the opportunity to become certified in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and use of a portable defibrillator. This Tech Prep course is aligned with curriculum at Sinclair Community College. Qualified students earn up to 15 college credits while in the high school course, and a $3,000 scholarship to continue their education in the field at Sinclair.
