Warren County Career Center is a Local Cisco Networking Academy under the Sinclair Community College Region. Students are prepared to take the Cisco Certified Network Associate exam upon successful completion of this program. Many students continue their education at a Tech Prep college or go on to a university majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Entering the workforce is another option students may take. The program utilizes a combination of web-based, instructor-led learning and hands-on labs.

The Cisco Academy Courses offered through WCCC are directly articulated with Sinclair Community College. Students with Tech Prep status receive seven quarter hours for each of four courses. Sinclair transcripts show a letter grade for each of these courses totaling 28 quarter hours. Students are also prepared to take the CompTia A+ Certification and Network + Certification exams in addition to Cisco's CCNA Exam.
Internships & Job Placement
All Information Technology Tech Prep students will job shadow during their training. Students may be eligible to apply for summer internships after their junior and/or senior years. Seniors may be eligible for early job placement during the second half of the school year.
