Welcome to the Learning Lab Preschool! The Learning Lab Preschool is a public preschool licensed under ODE licensing guidelines. Enrollment for the preschool is open to children three years through five years of age and toilet trained. A portion of the Preschool enrollment is from a public preschool state grant -qualifications are based on family size and income. The inclusive environment provides success with the children in an appropriate setting for special needs as well as typical developing children.
The Learning Lab’s creative curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Pre K Standards providing a foundation of language and literacy, problem solving and social development. The children learn through play in an environment strong in defined learning centers. Emotional and physical maturity is supported through the various activities and field trips the children participate in throughout the year. Developmental assessments are utilized to provide a support for the intentional instruction the teachers provide. Parent conferences are held to provide the parents with opportunities to learn and observe their child’s successes.
