Marketing Tech Prep students are exposed to all aspects of marketing in various business fields with a special emphasis on finance, hospitality, and sports. Students study the importance of marketing and will develop skills and knowledge related to the marketing and management fields. Teamwork, effective communication techniques, and time management skills are learned through extensive involvement in classroom projects and activities. Students will acquire specific skills needed for success in business today and will be prepared for further education in the marketing and business fields.

Marketing Tech Prep is aligned with curriculum at Sinclair Community College. Qualified students can earn college credits for business classes, by passing Sinclair proficiency tests and a $3,000 scholarship to continue their education in the marketing/business field at Sinclair.
Career-Technical Student Organization
Students in this program participate in DECA, which prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Students gain valuable leadership skills through their participation in DECA and have the opportunity to compete at regional, state and national levels.
Internships and Job Placement
Students work a minimum of 15 hours per week in the marketing or customer service industry in a supervised job station. Part of the class credit is derived from job performance and employer/instructor evaluation.
