Welding and Metal Fabrication students learn all aspects of the industry. The welding lab experience develops each student's ability to use various welding methods and to weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions. Students will also design, layout, and fabricate components using different metals and various welding methods.

Certifications/College credit:
Students may be awarded the American Welding Society Certification upon successful completion of the program. Graduates may continue their education at many technical schools, colleges, or universities. Internships, job placement In the second year of the program, students may be eligible to start an apprenticeship program with International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers through Local 290, Dayton, provided they meet the necessary qualifications.
