Landscape Technology students gain experience in designing landscapes, then transferring their designs into actual landscaping projects. Students will learn types of plants, shrubs, and trees and gain an understanding of their general care. Computers are used to assist in landscape design.
This program offers an opportunity for students to be creative by designing projects and implementing their designs.

Students are given the opportunity to receive a Pesticide License through the Ohio Department of Agriculture. WCCC’s Adult Education Landscape/Horticulture program offers successful graduates of the high school program an opportunity to receive further certifications and training in the field. Internships, job placement Seniors may be eligible for early job placement during the second half of the school year. Criteria for placement include instructor recommendation, grade point average and attendance.
